This year after Halloween, the pediatric dentist office here does an event where you can bring in your Halloween candy and they will pay you $1 per pound and give it to those serving our country (and to have them hand it out to kiddos around the world). When I heard about it- there was no way I wasn't participating having my be a hygienist and Drew being part of the military. We should up- the kids turned in their candy, earned $8, got prizes, made a Happy Halloween card for the Serviceman, and got a balloon from the clown...they LOVED it and it taught them to sacrifice things they love for others. Can't wait to do it again next year!
