I put my kids to work. A local farm was having a sale on their corn. I ordered a bunch to freeze for all year long. My kids love love love to help. They worked hard and had 5 dozen shucked in minutes. I have fond memories of shucking corn for hours on end....I'm just keeping with tradition. :)
