Uncle TJ decided to live out his childhood through our children, and bought them hamsters. The kids are LOVING them- even though in all actuality, Ranan is rooming with rodents. Gross. Better yet- Ranan's {fat} hamster, really wasn't fat. We were eating breakfast then next morning when Jada come running in screaming, "She is having babies!" I almost died. So our 2 new hamsters, quickly turned into at least 11 hamsters. Quite honestly, it was so so neat to witness. We watched the WHOLE thing, how neat nature is and how natural things flow. Mama hamster was very protective and knew exactly what to do. Needless to say, that evening we took Mama and babies back to the petstore and brought back a {nonpreggo} hamster.
