This was Drew and I's favorite!! The World War II Memorial. It has over 50 pillars with all the states/oceans that connect us all together. It had a gorgeous fountain in the middle and all around the sides. There was a wall that was filled with gold stars. Each star represented 100 fallen men. The wall of gold stars reflected in the pool and was amazing. We were excited to see our two favorite states, and remember home. It truly is amazing to me the sacrifices that were made for our country.
