We went through an immune system adjustment after we moved here. It seemed as though my kids were catching everything! If that was the only complication that came from uprooting our lives, I will be happy. Everyone is healthy and happy now, but it seemed that we struggled with the yuckies for a good 2 month off and on again.
Our landlord has a daughter in the National Guard. She would pay to have a flag displayed in the front yard at every holiday to honor the armed forces. She was excited that Drew was in the Air Force and wanted to continue the same tradition for him. So kind and thoughtful. We love to wake up on any holiday and see the American Flag in our yard to honor Drew.
